Objective

Here are the features [and shorts preceding them] which I've seen for the first time at the New York Film Festival. This fest presents an international smorgasbord: it's more "curated" than Sundance [i.e., you don't have to choose your flick from multiple competing tracks like you have to in Park City] but it's every bit as fearless, as you will discover in the varied selections just waiting for your reviews.
