He was popular (I think) in the 60s and 70s mainly. May have been in game shows or a comedian and possibly gay. I have an image of him in my head wearing pink pants which may or may not be true. Brown hair, laugh lines and a major tan. Not George Hamilton, Rock Hudson or Paul Lynde. The person I saw who made me think of him was Larry Storch in That Funny Feeling.

Remember Fred Willard in "Flintwood Tonight"? Classic stuff!

Fred is not the one I'm thinking of. Mine is much less well known and more 1970s.

I think I blended like fifty different guys in with his face. Seriously. Majorly confused over here. LOL

Fred is NOT gay! Yes, I know. ;)

He started in a double act with Vic Greco in Greenwich Village. They played at various coffee houses before he joined Chicago-based improv group Second City.

I never saw him in pink pants!

Dick Shawn?

Actually I can picture the guy you may be thinking of. He looked like George Hamilton a bit. Maybe black hair? Can't figure out the name.

Charles Nelson Reilly, or maybe Alan Sues?

Sounds like it might be Soupy Sales - do a google image search. Popular tv star who made a couple of films. Got in trouble once for asking - as a joke - for kids to send him dollar bills.

Happy New Year, Tori!
