Put any five reviews you like in your F.Y.C. list. | Do not use reviews from the previous round: you must change them every round. | Post here to declare that youve done it: sooner is better than later. | Provide spoiler warnings in your post when appropriate. | Read the F.Y.C.s of all participants. | The next round starts on Monday at noon or later, F.W.F.R. time.

1920s

NB:
Chaplin's tramp get a job in a big top travelling circus.
"October" was Eisenstein's ground-breaking retelling of the Russian Revolution.
His earlier feature concerns the violent quelling of a strike by oppressed factory workers.
In "The Crowd" married couple John and Mary Sims fall foul of life in the big city.
"The Epic of Everest" is Captain J.B.L Noel's documentary of the tragic Mallory & Irving expedition.

The Earl of Oxford secretly writes Shakespeare's plays.

A stoner turns out to be a C.I.A. killer.

Andrew Garfield takes his turn at pretending the worst superhero of all time is anything other than a pointless dweeb.

Some chavs (or neds, since they're Scottish) go to a remote distillery to steal some whisky.

La Seydoux's character's charms are successful in bedding Adle Exarchopoulos's.

A university city is famous for its supposed dreaming spires, although it doesn't actually have many so I don't know why.

What I always thought was the real origin of a word turns out just to be folk etymology, but never mind.

Here are my five reviews.

Lemmy in for #1325.

Samara Weaving (Hugos daughter) Plays Grace, who is put through the wringer.

Tallulah Bankheads character marries Bill Wade (Robert Montgomery) and, after she loses her inheritance, they undergo many hardships during the early years of the Great Depression.

In the Pre-Code Ex-Lady, Co-habiting Bette Davis and Gene Raymond are happy as can be until they marry (parental pressure). Then their relationship begins to deteriorate.

Warren Oates plays a dim-witted virgin who wants to do it but is unable to when he gets the chance.

Charlie Manson and his Family feature in Tarantinos latest in a most unusual way.
