Put any five reviews you like in your F.Y.C. list.
Do not use reviews from the previous round: you must change them every round.
Post here to declare that you've done it: sooner is better than later.
Provide spoiler warnings in your post when appropriate.
Read the F.Y.C.s of all participants.
The next round starts on Monday at noon or later, F.W.F.R. time.

Ultimately I think it's a couple of things - I'm not in the habit of voting when I enter because for as long as we've been doing this I haven't - that is easily remedied, and is the obvious answer. Otherwise I don't check in to the forum very often, and simply forget, especially if I'm particularly busy on a Sunday and Monday, which I sometimes am.
Force of habit is the issue really - even when there were dozens of us per round it was a fairly loose and laid back process - increasingly so as the numbers dwindled. Strict adherence to "the rules" may be efficient but it's also stifling and occasionally at odds with real life.

Ditto, except that the votes I gave you weren't in lieu of an obligation I'd entered into.

Did my voting, but a little late, after a busy couple of days. I missed yours before you changed them Salopian, so will find some alternatives. It's my fault, I know, but it's worth a thought that starting the new round on a Monday is good thing to keep things consistent, but changing your reviews and posting before we've all V&V'd on the previous round (something you don't do, I know) actually means missing out on votes.

I'd rather miss out on votes than any longer endure the increasingly agonizingly drawn out process of waiting for people to bother to vote. This has now happened many times, so it cannot be a surprise to you that you are apparently unable to vote in the run-up to the deadline. Therefore why not just vote when you enter? It just takes a few seconds. Despite having no computer of my own and living in the Andes I manage to visit everyone at least twice during the short time between their entering and the end of the round, so I can't really take seriously the notion that people cannot visit my reviews once in the much longer period of time they are always available. This is only an Internet forum and so of course it does not matter in any way, but I cannot buy into the fantasy that anyone couldn't just co-operate with the easy, clear and very long-established parameters if they actually wanted to.

Thanks for the 5, and for the extra votes. You hit most of my new reviews, so you can look forward to seeing all of them again in near-future FYC rounds...

War in Europe

N.B.
The 1950s "Dunkirk" was directed by Leslie Norman.
"Edge of Darkness" follows the resistance of a Norwegian town against the invading Germans.
"In Darkness" is set in the sewers of Lvov.
Lloyd Bridges co-stars in "A Walk in the Sun".
Spoiler here (and slightly in the review) for "The Ascent" - in Larisa Shepitko's war-time allegory the freedom fighting main characters are visually and thematically compared to Jesus and Judas. Contrary to the original fate of the biblical Judas the Christ-like Sotnikov is hung, while Rybak's Judas is freed after agreeing to work for the Nazis.

Three new ones

In a dystopian future where siblings are outlawed due to overpopulation, a set of identical septuplets (all played by Noomi Rapace) live under the shared alias of Karen Settman.

The protagonost of the 1974 T.V.M. (technically not a spoiler since he is a real person, but better safe than sorry, here and in less detail in the review) runs off, once temporarily and once permanently.

Someone runs naked for some reason.

Gangsters do their thing in Saigon.
