StaLean, what I meant was that the meaning of the two reviews is a bit different, as when I wrote "Buck's butt naked" I meant "Buck's butt IS naked", not "Buck is butt-naked" i.e, the apostrophe is possessive. I dropped the word "is" to avoid becoming too verbose.
P.S. Thanks for the vote. |

My "Acting's Pitt's Achilles' heel." for Troy sounds a lot like blackhorse's "Brad's 'Achilles Heel'... acting ." (except mine is more gramtically correct )

Fixed (BTW, was the typo intentional? )

I can always count on a fellow fwfr'er to point out typos, gramatical errors, and sometimes a little of both.

Benj,
I appear to have cloned Fresno's organ. My review for "Me and Him" (Talking Head) is identical to Fresno's which predates mine. Rather than deleting it myself, I would appreciate your doing it so that Fresno can be endowed with the votes that mine attracted. Every inch vote counts.

Bife's "Beware Greeks bearing gifts" came after my "Fear Greeks bearing gifts" for Troy. However, I am not sure whether either of us should have it. I remember, even when I submitted it, wondering why I was doing so. It's just a quotation, after all. Hhmmm...

I see it as also being a warning based on events in the film.
But you're welcome to change yours if you want, thereby saving me from having to do anything here

Well, it's certainly relevant to the film, but it's just a translation of "Timeo Danaos et dona ferentes". Hhmmm... Do people think this is a valid review?
