Just wondered if anyones got experience of Oscar betting, something I've always been tempted by, but the last time I had a dead cert it was Saving Private Ryan for best picture!
Now just seen Dunkirk and thought if I bet this far in advance it should improve my odds, but looking at the fact its only 4 to 1 it obviously doesn't work that way.
ALso when looking into it came cross a thing called bet matching, alas it looks like it is not suited to the Oscars? I don't follow any sport. The idea is you bet on both sides of a game with two different companies and because of the free bet incentives you are always a winner!
Thanks
I didn't find the right solution from the internet. References: https://forums.thedigitalfix.com/forums/showthread.php?s=1caffa5f7477fa08ec395fb21cb260cc&t=645384

Posted - 10/04/2017 : 18:54:11 No such thing as a dead cert these days! Betting on a Best Film winner before the shortlist is announced is probably quite brave, but then Dunkirk would have short odds even then. It has been far from a classic year of cinema so far, and the "season' is just about to start.
I've never bet on the Oscars officially, but I've done a very competitive sweepstakes every year since 2002 with a fellow movie loving friend. One year, weirdly, I guessed 23 out of the 24 winners (should have had an accumulator on that one), but usually it's between 14-18 right. |
