Posted - 03/25/2009 : 19:39:36 Is this a take on the Apt Initials thread? If you want to do it that way, go ahead: take the letters "A, P, and T" and do whatever you want with them. Make an anagram, don't make an anagram, use them in any order as an acronym, use them as the principal letters of something ... I don't know: just use 'em! (Please highlight your use of the letters so we can see where you went on this.)
Caveat: if it's just too tenuous, I reserve the right to ask you to try again (e.g., scotch tape - good; brown rice [because the b comes after a in the alphabet, o comes before p, the s comes before t] - bad).
I'm going with the SLA's poster girl "Tania": Patty Hearst |

Thank God for dysfunction; otherwise, life might be normal. I KNOW I GOT MY SHARE! |

Don't you just love a story with a happy ending!
It is a family tradition. When my cousins and I were little, our grandmother entertained us with stories she made up about Mickey and Minnie Mouse. The stories all ended the same way, with Mickey and Minnie eating rat poison and bloating up and dying. I'm surprised none of us grew up to become serial killers.
And did a member of your family invent Itchy & Scratchy of Simpsons fame? It would be sort of apt.

When I saw the theme, I just had to join in, even though I'm late.
Milburn Apt, test pilot.
When my brother was a Kansas college student back in the 60's, he noticed that a sexy blonde New Yorker had the last name, "Apt." He approached her and commented, "There was a test pilot named Apt." She said, "Yeah, he was my uncle."
So, they fell in love and got married and lived happily for 20 some years, until he cleaned out their bank account and took off with her best friend. She died of lung cancer 2 years later.
Don't you just love a story with a happy ending!
BTW, lovely use of irony in the phrase "took off".
So apt.
