Shouldn't I be equal second?
Yes but some are more equal than others.
And my little template isn't always perfect, plus I was in a rush. |

Posted - 06/24/2009 : 18:37:46 Just like my Dad, I voted because I was supposed to -- not because I actually knew anything about the candidates. |

Posted - 06/24/2009 : 06:33:58 Well, my father is no longer alive but my votes for this round live on! |

Posted - 06/23/2009 : 22:28:06 I unlocked eight doors, went into the voting booth, did my fatherly duty, and retreated, locking eight doors behind me. Job done. |

Darth Feta? I'm surprised you didn't go with a more well-known cheese, like Jango Feta, father of Boba Feta and the entire Imperial clone army!
A. I've already done (and won with) the Boba Feta joke.
B. Darth is the more famous father figure in the franchise, no?
I'll never forget the time he and I were battling with our light(ly battered mozzarella)-sabers and he told me he was my father. I couldn't believe my own Dad would turn to the moldy side! |

Posted - 06/22/2009 : 04:23:16 He fathers 14 children and doesn't get a Fathers Day card from any of them. What a shame. His nicknames included Dracula, Satan and Lucifer - and that was before they discovered he'd kept his daughter locked up underground as a sex slave for 24 years.
Incidentally, don't imagine that there is only one isolated case of this sort in Austria. You only get one point for knowing that another young girl (Natascha Kampusch) was abducted and kept as a sex slave for eight years. You get three bonus points for knowing that a demented lawyer kept her kids hidden for seven years in the early 21st century - long enough for them to develop their own language. All they had to play with were mice. The three girls were freed in 2005 when the authorities acted on a neighbour's suspicions. Details of the case were concealed until 2007 to avoid media attention. There are Austrians who think that there's something decidedly odd about society there, and that the authorities are smug and complacent. |
