Posted - 09/27/2007 : 16:19:55 Anyone who had to sit through Waterworld or worse yet, The Postman will agree this person's death is long overdue. After a string of box office successes, this person seemed to have lost his artistic copmass.
I submit for your murderous muse:
Kevin Costner: http://us.imdb.com/name/nm0000126/

Oh, too bad. By the way, I think almost all of his scenes from that movie were deleted - if not all of them.

I love this movie, maybe it's a nostalgia thing. I just remember being really impressed with the opening Scott Glen sequence and actually liking Kevin Costner. It's quite cliqued, but some how that's one of things I like about it.
I'm with you on this one, AM. I, too, love this film. Reminds me of Saturday afternoon matinee westerns--only slightly grittier. The deep existential-type western (other than The Ox-Bow Incident, High Noon & The Naked Spur) hadn't become the norm, yet. |

This week's viewing: Silverado Thoughts: Okay, someone out there has to have found this movie as dull as I did. Maybe I'm spoiled by more modern, grittier action movies like Spy Kids or Ratatouille, but I couldn't help but imagine Clint Eastwood watching this movie in utter boredom until he shot out the projector. |
