I actually own that DVD. For some reason I like it, despite Wallace's revisionist take on French history, which my friend Max (yes, a Frenchman) tells me was atrocious. Of all the accents, I think the worst French accent was Gerard DePardieu's.  Oh wait, that was his ass. But really, I've spoken on DiCaprio's lingual skills before. Truth is, I'm just not much of a fan. In any case, it was more entertaining than say ... The Three Brat Packeteers (1993). |
