Huge star, long filmography, ripe for the Notices page.

Here's to the FWTO's big 200

Michael Plugged. Alas.

Geez, Sean, hope everyone is okay!

Unfortunately, Sean didn't live there anymore.

"Oh, wow, heavy."

Thanks to all who voted for me. I've been absent from FWTO for quite some time, but this was certainly a nice welcome back to the game. The obits this time were especially good. Michael Douglas' filmography really lent itself to death puns.

Congratulations Joe Blevins for picking up your 2nd FWTO win, well done. Time to get up here and give us a few words then choose the next victim. Make sure it's NOT someone that we had laid to rest in previous rounds.

You are now free to post any alternative FWTOs you may have.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by and joined in for our 200th round anniversary!!!

I'm the voting guy? How did that happen?
lemmycaution Posted - 08/06/2008 : 19:28:19
Got out of the shadow of my father and voted.

The point is, ladies and gentleman, that voting, for lack of a better word, is good. Voting is right, voting works. Voting clarifies, cuts through, and captures the essence of the evolutionary spirit. Voting, in all of its forms; voting for life, for money, for love, knowledge has marked the upward surge of mankind.

For once I wish I had 6 more votes to spread around. Many, many excellent entries.

I had thought about killing off Michael by referring to his father and came up with some interesting ones like "Beamed up before Kirk" but decided against it. Anyway, with such a great selection, this was one of the hardest FWTO's to vote for but I did!
MisterBadIdea Posted - 08/06/2008 : 04:28:23
My votes aren't going to be ignored.

This week's viewing: Wonder Boys
Thoughts: Douglas is fine, but this Tobey Maguire kid has got to go. Move your face when you act, geez.

thanks to wildheartlivie's invite, i was fatally attracted to play again (nobody'll think to re: that film ). i was surprised at how little material there was for Michael Douglas. then i was surprised at how much wit was squeezed from the relatively short filmography.
this site is great!
