Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid
The Rules
A Haiku is written as follows:
The first line of a haiku poem has five syllables. The second line of a haiku poem has seven syllables. The third, and final, line of a haiku poem has five syllables.
The Movie Haiku Contest (MHC) is open to every member of the FWFR site.
To enter, think of a Haiku for the current movie, then post into the current thread. Haikus may be risque, but nothing explicit please.
Only one entry per person. However, you are allowed to edit your existing entry until 9pm Tuesday FWFR time.
Voting.
If you have entered the MHC, then you have to vote. If you do not vote, you'll lose 3 points from your total.
You do not have to enter an MHC to vote. Vote away.
---------------------------------
For each round, you get to vote for your three favourite MHC. The voting is as follows:
3 pts - 1st place 2 pts - 2d place 1 pt - 3d place
--------------------------------
You cannot vote for yourself. You can vote for the previous winner
You vote by sending the currently designated Haiku Meister (me, this week) your votes in a PM (Private Message).
You may vote only once.
When the voting deadline ends (9pm Wednesday FWFR time), the votes are tallied and the top three places are announced.
*After winners are announced, the floor is open for posting of alternate Movie Haikus under that topic heading.
The winner is then allowed to make an acceptance speech (if he/she so wants to), and then must choose the movie for the next MHC contest. The winner will post the new movie as a new topic under Movie Haikus in this format:

Except I cant help noting that, when I was at school, my votes would also have added up to 12.
Maybe things have changed since then?! It was a long time ago.
Sorry! Your votes were 3,3,2,2,1 for a total of 11.
Close, but still no cigar, my badger friend! |

Posted - 04/02/2009 : 03:49:39 Well, I'm not sure if anyone was robbed or not, but this week's Movie Haikus really stole the show.
In third place with 8 votes (3,2,2,1)...
BEANMIMO!
In a close second place, with 10 votes (3,3,2,2,2)...
The badger is back... WHIPPERSNAPPER!
And the winning Haiku... the one we'd all jump off a cliff in Bolivia for, with a whopping 12 votes (3,3,3,2,1), the one... the only...
MguyX!
Stand up, take a bow, and don't let those raindrops keep falling on your head and give us a new movie to Haiku soon!
