You know it: you thought this film was groovy, baby, YEAH!

Austin Powers: International Man Of Mystery (1997)

Abbreviated rules ....

The first line of a haiku poem has five syllables.
The second line has seven syllables.
The third, and final, line has five syllables.

The Movie Haiku Contest (MHC) is open to everyone, baby. Cats and chicks can equally dig on this bit a tick, because it's free love.

To enter, create a Haiku for the current movie, post into the current thread, man.

Haikus may be risqu. But no one wants to tour the undercarriage, so BEE-HAVE!

Only one entry per person. Was Joe Blevins even alive in the 60s? We can't be sure, and we certainly don't need anyone mucking with the space-time continuum, so just observe the rule. You can edit your existing entry until 9pm next Tuesday FWFR time.

Voting.

Once you enter the MHC, you may experience light-headedness, euphoria, and flashing psychedelic lights. That's normal, baby: just move with the flow and don't freak out. If you start to have a bad trip, it's because you haven't voted, so be sure to vote. You lose three points if you don't, and that's a serious bummer.

You do not have to enter an MHC to vote. Vote anyway. It's kind of like being in the contest. In fact, it's just like a lurker vote.

For each round, you get to vote for your three favourite haikus. The voting is as follows:

3 pts fwfr a
2 pts fwfr b
1 pt fwfr c
--------------------------------

You may vote only once.
You may not vote for yourself.

You vote by sending me your votes in a PM (Private Message) HERE. Send love and flowers too.

When the voting deadline ends (9pm Wednesday 01SEP FWFR time), I'm going to say something very groovy, baby, yeah.
