This topic doesn't seem to have been covered before. So, with a nod toward our own oblate spheroid and its solar neighbors - let's see your orbiting avatars!

<<== This planet's got some nifty reporters!

Because it NEVER gets old (Ch'Ed, you should have warned her).

I PROMISE: if I win, you'll never have to see this again.

But if you win I'll have to look at it forever in the Winner's Gallery.

The Case for Uranus

In the Avatar Contest, I have entered "Uranus" several times.

Each time I have put it in -- Uranus -- I have gone back and forth: should I continue to use Uranus so frequently? When will I reach a climax with this tale? The last time I entered Uranus, it was tight: I used Uranus and came in second, though I felt many wanted me to come in first. I may have sworn never to use Uranus again, but that was only if you picked Uranus, because you felt Uranus was worthy.

Be that as it may, I am hopeful that this is the end game; that we can install Uranus in the Avatar Contest Winner's Gallery universe, where it belongs. Yes, Uranus is a star -- and not just part: the whole; the whole is a star -- and it deserves to be treated like one.

Please remember Uranus when you vote. Vote with Uranus; vote FOR Uranus.
