On page 83 of the August SIGHT & SOUND, the photo illustrating Kim Newman's review of MAN OF STEEL bears this caption:
The great 'S' cape: Henry Cavill |

Well, you're the lawyer.
And it could very well be, because we have proof that noncents was the originator - both online and in print! |

I imagine it would be easy for the defendant to convince a judge that two people could come up with the same bit of wordplay independently. However, S&S is a film magazine originating in Britain, and we are a film site originating in Britain. I'd say the chances are very high that the S&S editor in charge of photo captions copped it from centz -- or, as in the case of the crossword constructor who stole several reviews from us, he "got them from a friend." |

It also doesn't make sense for the new film, as far as I can tell from Google Images: Christopher Reeve's cape has an S on it, but Henry Cavill's is plain red.

Good observation! The case against them just gets better. |
