Well, better late than never! Here is the results of the Some Like it Hot Haiku Contest:
But first, an announcement from your sponsor:
Due to a rare instance of a three way tie, out of four contestants, the administration has decided NOT to announce the third place winners and go straight for the second and first place winners.
In second Place with a rare show of ... er ... taste:

And, in first place, with all his glory (as if we didn't know this was going to happen):

Okay, I don't know if there are specific rules about this, but may I suggest that since the Whipp hasn't given us a new Haiku topic yet, we should wait until Wednesday and have the 1st runner up - that's you EM - give us a new topic for the week.
What do you all say?

I think someone should p.m. him ... it's unlike our Whippy not only not to respond, but to be so absent from the forums at all. My guess is that he's away.
That said, I have nothing against a new film chosen by EM.
