That's what I'd say, hypothetically.
Hmm ... well in real life - a lurker DID come along. And NOW there's a tie. So what now?!!!!
More to the point ... where's Turrell? I've spotted him on the boards recently, and I've messaged him x 2. I certainly hope we haven't offended him in any way.
OK - unless anyone objects, and assuming we don't get another lurker -- I'm going to go with the tie.
I'm giving it 2 more hours. That's 5 pm fwfr time, i.e. here in the UK.

I have blown the conch of the Haiku, so quiet down you little 'uns and listen.
OK ... First of all, Dear Turrell - I hope you're all right and nothing terrible has prevented your voting. Sadly, in the circs, and according to the rules, we have to discount your place in this week's contest.
And now -- pipe down there at the back!
In second place with 6 votes [1,3,2]
it's the ever-popular rockfsh
And tied in first place with 9 votes each are
Whipper [2,1,3,3]
and
Me [3,3,1,2]
I am graciously going to allow Whippersnapper to take the Conch and make his speech and pick another film.
