This week's viewing: Cat Ballou
Thoughts: It occurs to me that part of the brilliance of Pirates of the Caribbean is that it only had one funny lead character, Johnny Depp, but made everyone else play it absolutely straight. Instead of one wacky character, everyone in Cat Ballou is part-wacky. It does not work. |

Wow, am I thrilled to pieces! Lee Marvin & I once both lived in Tucson, Arizona at the same time--right around the time his "palimony" suit with Michelle What's-her-name came up. I'm a big fan. No, not of Michelle's . . .
