Wha? Wha'd she say? Thermal wha? Venz?

Call them fissures, hotspots ...

You can read all about 'em here, then let your imagination dip to the sea floor and soar way up high to erupt all over fwfr.

SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS - hot hot hot

Meet the Pompei worm, one of the bizarre creatures which lives near hydrothermal vents. They filter tiny organisms that cluster around for a bit of warmth in the deep, dark, cold ocean. So cute

I found it quite hard to penguinise. Guess how many penguin colonies are adjacent to areas of hydrothermal activity? Yeah, not a lot... I thought I had the best chance on the Galapagos, but no success.

Then a Penguin Steam Cleaner came to the rescue.
