So what has Salopian done to upset you?

Nothing. He just asked not to be a part of the book. Benj and I are respecting his wishes.

While I have zero reviews in the Top 100, I am hopeful to have maybe 5 or so featured in the book due to lucking out with votes near the top for some iconic films - the first Star Wars (IV), Fargo, and I think I've traded places a couple of times with Benj's excellent review for the original King Kong.

Unfortunately, Whacking nostalgic for The History of Masturbation was only just approved, so I think it's too late for the first edition.

Sal - why are you so sad? It seems like you know you will have none in the book because you asked them not to include you, but you play a victim like someone is punishing you. Please go get yourself a cookie, take in a happy comedy and dance in the rain or snow or whatever is going on in London nowadays.

I'm sure you have your own perfectly good reasons for opting out of the book, but why not just let it be instead of making it seem like the man is keeping you down?

I should add you have several good reviews that would make the book better but of course it's your choice.

No, Sal's in Poland now - the British government made a deal for 100,000 Poles to move to London so we could send them him.

But I agree - Salopian has got a couple of reviews that would be worthy inclusions, but there we go.

I didn't say it in a sad way at all. I said it in a totally deadpan way for my own amusement, since I was the only one who could make an accurate prediction. It didn't occur to me that Yukon would take it upon himself to announce the facts to all and sundry, since I quietly made my request off-site to Benj some time ago.

Actually I think you were the one who let the cat out of the bag with your prediction of 0. It was either a ridiculous prediction or one that you knew was accurate.

It was also extremely unlikely to remain a secret post-book-release as you presumably won't be mentioned in the acknowledgements, and the absence of your reviews would have been noticed by someone. The first thing I'll be doing when I get my copy is going review-counting.

OK, so I was a little out. I counted 17 of my reviews in the book (that's not including under "Guess the Movie" usage).

Well, I was expecting 3-4, but I think I found about 8 (I didn't do an exact count). I think 8 constitutes as "several", which is what the email told me would be included.

That my first one is on page 5, and therefore also viewable through the Amazon preview pages, is what is really cool!

I started counting and once I got to four (blowing my prediction of three and a half out of the water) I stopped a happy Fwiffer.

Benj and Mike well done on the hard work.

I'll be adding a little beanmimo magic in support of the book this week... watch this space.
