Always a handy topic.
(Extra credit if you can work in a "28," which is apparently the last number in the FWFR numbering system ("Cheese!" )
Oops: I screwed up. I usually check the previous contests, but the one time I didn't ...
Since we already did "hands," (and I'm very sorry to everyone who already jumped in ), let's switch to
The topic is Balls
This one ought to be easy to play with. (*snicker*)
(Sorry: my bag! )
This guy's got balls (but probably not for long). |

It seems human beings don't have a monopoly when it comes to hands. Consider these members of two very different species. |

Holding hands flippers.
Damn, thought that looked familiar...
Anyway, penguins can swim, waddle, slide along on their bellies... and bounce. |

Thanks for the reminders. I'll post a new pic asap.
The short answer is that I've been busy. The longer answer amounts to a cautionary tale...
Two days ago I bought an Apple iMAC computer and yesterday learned that it is not compatible with my existing AOL/BT modem. I therefore bought a TP Link wireless modem router. However, I then found that the CD with the drivers is not compatible with the iMAC, which only takes CDs of the conventional size. The alternative suggested in TP Link's 'quick installation guide' is to download the drivers from their website. However, I have two problems. The first is that the iMAC cannot connect to the internet, for obvious reasons. The second is that when I put the code (192.168.1.1 - actually an IP address) into my AOL web browser using my old computer (in the hope that I can download the drivers to an external hard drive and then copy them to the iMAC) I was told that this was an invalid IP address. I fared no better using Mozilla Firefox. A further complication is that before I realised that the CD cannot be used in the iMAC I put it into the optical drive. It is jammed in there and I have been advised by the Apple helpline to keep the machine switched off until I can go into their Birmingham store this afternoon to have it removed. I am wondering whether the Apple people might be able to download the drivers while I am in the shop.
The moral of the story is that you should always read every page of the wretched manual, however tedious, before playing with the shiny stuff. Of course it would be good if the techie people knew about other people's products so that they could warn you of incompatibility problems, but I suppose that's not what they're paid for. |

For some odd reason, that was the first thing that came to mind. |

I finally found an entry.
There was a lot of cheese ball material that I had to say nay to.
Then I laid eyeballs on this good looking chunk of cheese.
So the eyes have it. |
