Voted. I was all set to do my duty an hour ago but got sidetracked. I'll explain why soon, in case you can't guess.

I will never forget the time my pal and mentor Richard Creamer tipped me off to a soccer match with Robert Plant at a local park in Encino; right next door to where I was living with my parents. Led Zeppelin was playing a string of sold out shows at The Forum in Los Angeles, and there right in front of my eyes was one of the biggest pop stars glaring right into the lens of my camera. Plant was prancing around the field in his Speedos and was NOT amused! He came up to me with his surly bodyguards and demanded to know who I was. "You will never work in this town again," he screamed, but hey it was my town. You know that you have made it when a major star tells you that you will never work again.

Some good, late 70's photos.

Thanks MG. Some fascinating pics - including photos of some of my favourite rockstars (and the babes, of course), including a nice one of the gorgeous Debbie Harry. Having been a fan for about 33 years I finally have my chance to see her in the flesh: Blondie are playing just down the road on 28 June and I have my ticket.

I've seen her a few times in recent years in a number of situations; just remember that she's about 60 now. ;)

Have had a power cut this morning, but back online and still no whisper from RoberTitanPa

I'll go with what you all think ... should we impose a DEAD/deadline? In light of my recent electrical hoo-hah, I'm inclined to be lenient

Wotcha reckon, peeps?

The rule is: if you fail to vote, you get -3. There is no waiting for stragglers, BECAUSE THE REST OF US ARE WAITING! We already have a strict Wednesday cutoff. Can you imagine what anarchy would result if public elections had to wait for slow voters???

YOU ARE TEARING AWAY THE FABRIC OF DEMOCRACY! IT'S THE APOCALYPSE!!!

Announcing the winners of the Apocalypse as they go bob-bob-bobbing along.

Robert the Titan has been duly sent to get his hair bobbed, so in a tie for 3rd place, with 6 points each, it's

MguyX = 3,3
and
Cheese_Ed = 1,3,2

But I seem to recall that two threes beat a full house and jokers are wild. So Cheesey wuz ROBbed, and MguyX gets the Bronze.

Actually TitanBob also got 3,3, but I deducted 3 so nah-nah-nah-na-na!

OK, in 2nd place, Bob's your my uncle with a digit to match the decade ...

A perfect 10
A perfect 10
A perfect 10
A perfect 10
A perfect 10
A perfect 10

Yeah, me and Bo Derrick, right ... or do I mean Bob Derrick?!!!

Anyways, it's me = 3,2,1,3,1

And now, The colourful soft and squidgy Robert he bobby-pinned his hopes on ...

Tits a winner - like THAT was a surprise

with his massive 11 points

Yep, it's Robert the Bife 1,2,3,1,2,2

Let's have a belated speech, and hurry up and pick another av subject before MguyX explodes!

Don't worry. I'm currently reading a biography of DH so I know precisely how old she is (unless she's telling porkies about her age, but she seems pretty candid about most things so I doubt it).

Always a Pretty Baby, regardless of her years.

Don't get me wrong, Koli" always a fan.

bife is often away at sea, because he's the responsible "I've-got-a-real-job" type, so there may be a slight delay before announcing a new topic for us "I've-got-a-computer-so-I-pretend-I-don't-need-a-job-until-the-lectricity-goes" types.
