I'm awake! -- more or less.

Yay for ChocolateLady joining us, and with the correct answer. Now, it's your turn in the barrel.

Sorry. I was busy with making a HUGE day late Thanksgiving dinner with all the trimmings.

Okay... so... let's see...

Being color blind's
hard when it concerns your own
child. Love concurs all!

Hmmm - there are two versions of Imitation of Life that might fit - one starring Claudette Colbert, the other Lana Turner. Either of those?

Sorry, no - neither of those.

Maybe that last full stop should be a question mark.

I'll take that for a Yes.

Here's a new one:

I'm not sure this ticks all the boxes, but Peter Fonda both produced and acted in Easy Rider, ostensibly examining American lifestyles of excess. But I'll keep looking/thinking ...

Noble try, and thoughtful, but not the answer, my friend. Here's a Haiklue:

feces urine blood
filled a trough and then money
enhanced the melange

No one else dares to get a custard pie in the face, so I've got my mask on to suggest ... Peter Boyle in Where The Buffalo Roam. Sort've fits. Unless someone else wants a go, I'm gonna hafta admit I'm stomped on by feet of clay

Babe, you're courageous and delightful. Clay feet ain't made for stompin', so that's just what they won't.

I'm going to claim victory and reveal. The movie: THE MAGIC CHRISTIAN. Based on the book by Terry Southern. Peter Sellers is Guy Grand, billionaire, who uses his vast fortune to expose the greedy underbelly of humanity. Ringo Starr aids and abets him as his adopted son. A young John Cleese has a nifty part as an auction employee, and Raquel Welch is unforgettable as a slavemaster.

Babe, if you're willing, please post a new Haiku. I'm ready to try to solve again...

Nice one, Clay!! And what a gent you are

Well - if you're sure - here's one picked from a lifetime in front of one screen or another:

She buttonholes him
but cannot see his love face
as he tramps away.
