This film may not have a full stop on the I.M.D.B. page, but it does on the B.B.F.C. certificate. The titles change from 'Clerks.' to 'Clerks. II' to 'Clerks II', though.

Ironically, I once asked benj to remove the full stop from the Clerks. listing, as I thought of it as being a presentation issue cf. a font, rather than an inherent aspect of the title. (I looked up some posters and it didn't appear on all of them.) I still kind of think that really, but if the B.B.F.C. has this one this way, then I'm sure that they did so for Clerks., so at least that's an objective criterion.

Jurassic era moved forward.

The film listed on this site as To Be And To Have is widely known as Etre et Avoir, including on the I.M.D.B. (although I don't know how it was released here). However, the film on this site as Le Temps Qui Reste was released in this country as Time to Leave, which was how I submitted it.

It seems to me that the rule ought to be to follow the British release titles (ideally) or else to follow the I.M.D.B.

Fixed. Generally, I try to go with the UK or International title but sometimes I forget

I think that this should be The Bront Sisters. I know that the I.M.D.B. lists The Bronte Sisters as the English title, but since it gives Les Soeurs Bront as the main title, this does not really make any sense.

The Germans?

The Irish invented the water of life, but that didn't stop the Scots from perfecting it.

Anyway, benj's rule is to use the official spelling of the UK release. According to imdb, the only spelling it was released under is with the 'Z,' making the FWFR title wrong. It may be perfectly acceptable to use either spelling in common usage depending on where you live, but one spelling is the name of the movie, and the other one isn't.

Shazam! will now be out in 2008 not 2006. Guess he's just a wee bit nervous.
