I'm entering this contest as a thinly disguised effort to widespreadedly brag about having received one of internationally famed film critic Roger Ebert's coveted Shiny New Dimes. Roger is THE DEVILishly AND THEmatically complex, DEEP (check out his review for BLUE Velvet: Roger's against-the-grain one-star review), all-SEAing Pulitzer Prize winner that I am proud to know. In my Avatar I hold up my dime, formerly his. (For you non-Americans who don't know, a dime is a coin worth one tenth of an American dollar, i.e. Precious Little.)

"Nonsense--you LIE!" you say? Well, check this one, Friends: Learn more about the both of us, and some others, here!

You are very stretchy Clay indeed!
But you have mentioned fwfr and so forgiveness is all yours
Spend that dime wisely, my friend ... and thanks for sharing the saga

Folks, I tried to vote at fwiffer.com by clicking the Contact Avatar Master, but 8 times it said there was a problem/try again later. Is there an alternate way to vote?

I've been getting the same thing for well over a year -- I tried reporting it, but nothing happened. So here's what I do instead:
The Av Master is always Cheese_Ed unless he needs to deputize for some reason. So, I click on C_E's name, which brings up his own fwfr page. One of the choices on the left-hand menu says Message User. Click that and you'll be taken to a Personal Message form addressed to him. Voila!
Hope that helps
BB

While choosing the first place avatar was easy as pie, it was devilishly difficult to SEA who I should give the other votes for. But I'm not blue - I decided and I'm glad with my choices.
