We all know that it's coming up soon and we all surely have someone who is expecting us to remember, so as a public service I am declaring this the Valentine Avatar Contest. Do you have the heart for it? |

It's been almost 2 years since Falken played. I heart having old friends come back.

Is posting without writing anything a new trend? |

Wordless entries are rare, and it's just a coincidence that two in a row showed up. But, sometimes, the avatar says it all. Less is more. |

I have to offer some accompanying words.
In February 1968, just a few months after going away to boarding school (and don't get any fancy ideas; this was a local authority place, not Eton), some of the girls from my old school decided to make Valentine's Day memorable for me. I received so many cards that for years afterwards I was known as Dickie Valentine, named after a romantic crooner popular with the older generation. I believe my mother sent at least one of the cards, though fortunately the other kids didn't realise that, otherwise my embarrassment would have been complete. |

And StaLean... is back... or is she? Is that an entry or just a question?
