In these times of austerity and belt tightening, how do you think blockbuster movies would look if they were made on the cheap?

As an example, this is "Transformers" on a very tight budget.

This is the complete cast of the Isle of Man Acme Film Productions version of Star Wars. It would have gone straight to DVD but no one in Douglas could find the necessary kit.

I doubt anyone was crying out for a sequel to Corky Romano, but at least they didn't waste a lot of money on the production.
