I was thoroughly convinced that January Jones was going to play Penny Chenery Tweedy in Secretariat. I am certain that I watched a very early trailer of the film with her in it.
Now I see that Diane Lane will play Penny. Which makes sense because Lane is closer to the age Penny was when Secretariat was foaled, whereas Jones is still a bit young for the role.
So...was Jones ever considered for the role? WHY am I so certain that she was?
I really hope they don't screw this film up. It could be really awesome. |
