Both are annoying but obsequious behavior is perhaps slightly less passive-aggressive than smarmy behavior.

Geez, that's a tough one. Bathing together is nice for sitting in the tub companionably while each reads a good book. Then the trick-or-treaters ring the doorbell and you argue about who has to get out and get dressed to go give them their candy.

Showering together is more stimulating, but that isn't always what one is in the mood for. Sometimes one would rather just be companionable. Especially when one partner prefers to shower with cool water. Getting distracted in the shower can be bad if there is a knock on the door and you ignore it, only to have the water stop running because the knock was from the water meter guy trying to let you know that you forgot to pay your water bill. So there you are all lathered up and no way to rinse off.

It can be an amazing experience to be privy to the thought processes generated by a simple this or that question.

Thank you duh for giving us a glimpse into your shared ablutions.

Beige, I guess, maybe?

Which brings me to the next choice ...

Tan lines or no tan lines?

(actually, I'm kinda afraid to ask ... no telling what this choice will remind "country duhm" of!)

No tan lines (as with my ruddy complexion I don't tan well)

Worse presenter in 2005:

Sean Penn or Robin Williams
